ok here's my problem: i have my rythem tracks pluged direct into my amp, when i turn on the power to the cd player i get a room shaking BOOM from my amp.
i have tried turning on the cd first then the amp ,same thing BOOM
it all works fine except for the big boom when i first turn it on.....oh yea its a nashville 400

Hi Calvin;
Just a suggestion - you never know it may work-
turn the volume on the CD player all the way down & also the volume on the amp down.Turn the CD player on 1st then turn the amp on..Slowly bring the amp volume up where it was then slowly turn the CD player volume up to where you want it.Give this a try
& maybe you will be where you want with it..Ron |

Even simpler than that - just make sure the amp volume is the last thing you turn (up).
If the amp volume is all the way down, it won't make any difference whether the player volume is up or down, or it's on or off.  |

i guess i am lazy , i like to leave everything set
i have everything pluged into a power strip so that all i have to do is flip one switch, sit down and play

check for any dc voltage on the phone plug of what you are plugging into your amp. it can cause the problem your describing and can be caused by a leaky capacitor, especially in a high impedance circuit.
