Thanks Mark for the link to the sight.
Hope to see you in about a month.
It's gonna be hard to leave this 50 degrees weather down here.
I looked today and it was 7 or 8 degrees up there
Maybe it will warm up in March

I would like to add that the Mead Hotel is wonderful place for such an event. A 5-star hotel with prices (even room service)that won't break the average person. Two restaurants two bars, pool & spa......you know the rest. So, no matter what the weather it'll be a balmy 72 degrees at the Mead

Craig Davidson has learned his lessons well! On playing the pedal steel and on putting a GREAT SHOW together!!! All his experience from the Waterloo "Jam" is really shining through as this show takes its place as one of the FINEST in the country! He also has the help of a truely GREAT woman behind him! And we know how that is, don't we Lefty? Barb & I have had the honor of playing this show a couple of times since it started just a few short years ago. We can't make it this year but we wish you all the best. Again.... it looks like another FABULOUS SHOW!

Larry, I'm glad your coming to the jam. Better save my money for the jewelry.

I'll have my volume pedal handy for you also.

Sounds like a great show. I will ask Don Helms about Bill Merritt.
I will have my therapist along just in case Joe gets crazy.

Dairy State Jam

Post by Lefty Schrage »

Hey Neil,
You are absolutely, positively right that spouses or significant others play a very important role in not only in keeping us in line but also '' in helping us organize our performances and/or steel shows. In fact, I think many of these events are successful due to the support and contributions of family members.
Really beginning to get energized for the Dairy State Jam coming up in March. Looking forward to seeing Craig, Susie, Joe, Larry, and the rest of the gang. Are you and Barb planning to be there? ...lefty

This is the second of the BIG THREE in the north country. I call it open steel season! The Dairy State Jam has been gaining a lot of momentum and this year from the looks of the line up, it will be a show stopper. We'll see you all in the Dairy State in March. Mark Wayne will be supplying the Banana Splits! Right Mark???

Sorry I can't supply the banana splits, but there'll be a few bananas on hand if anybody would like some.

....They don't seem to cure nervousness (sigh), and make sure you dispose of the peeling properly when you're finished. Don't just throw it on the floor

Roger,
I have raised my rates from a bag of chips, pop and a banana, to one hot meal, a Bailey's and coffee and a banana split per session. Dr. Bill

I am so glad Mark, that you are so safety conscious!!! I believe that those peels are specifically a slip / trip hazard according to the OSHA 29 CFR 1910. :P

Hey Guys & Gals,

Just got our brochure ready & delivered to the printer. Hopefully it will be finished by the Iowa show so I can give all our great players the dairy show schedule. I want to personally thank all of our sponsors who took an ad in our brochure; your sponsorship helps us to promote a great show.

We are having a blizzard here like the one that hit Waterloo. If we have this foul weather now, hopefully it'll be good weather for Wisconsin Rapids. Looking forward to seeing everyone again at the - "The Udder Jam".
