Hi Everybody,
Well, we are soon to release our new "Hawaiian Gospel Steel Guitar CD". The release date is set for next month. After weeks of work and combined efforts we are getting ready to release this project.
As many of you who record know, there is alot to do with a project like this. Besides the musicians, the engineering, arranging, recording, mixing and taking care of the legal aspects of recording, it's alot of work, takes a bunch of time and costs money. Well this project is finally about ready and I hope it is well recieved.
All of the songs were recorded on my 1937 Silver Ricky Rickenbacher, this proved really challenging for me, since I usually play a 14 string pedal steel. After all the work it turned out really great.
Next, we took a survey of songs here on the Steel Forum and was careful to try and select material that was recognizable and worthy to be used. This project was done to help fulfill a spiritual commiment and lift up the name of Jesus my Lord and Saviour.
