Have been working the Houston Rodeo Bar-b-que Cook-Off with the Lonely Road band.Never seen so many steel players working. Jody Cameron, Robby Primm. Marty Holmes, Bobby Bowman, and myself to name a few. Capacity crowds at all venues. Tonight is the last night. I will be with Lonely Road at the Armadillo Ballroom in Brazoria,Tx, next Sat. See you down the road. Jody. |

Brother Jody, along with the great steelers you've mentioned, I'm playing tonight, as well as last night and the night before, at the WCBBQCO, with GP Nunn and the Sons of the Bunkhouse.
Funny I didn't run into you there. Of course, being that there was 19.7 million people at the event, that might have contributed to our not meeting. Bowman did show up at our tent, though. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Yes Fred, you would have loved it. Also, in addition to the players mentioned above, the most excellent Kenny Grohman was in attendance last night, playing with Todd Fritsch. There were many players indeed. And the food and beverages were also quite incredible. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
