I've always seen Jack Johnson as sort of "middle of the road" music, but it's clips like that which remind me that whether he actually achieves greatness or not, he's sincere in his songwriting and is a genuine singer.
Ben Harper's single-string lines were understated examples of good complementary playing. The tones were also a dead match. Good-sounding recording in general! Hats off to the Carson Daly sound engineers.
