Anyone remember a TEXAN pedal steel? I was asked about it and it seem that I remember one........cannot remember if it was a make or a model.........dont trust my memory at all!

Texan's were made by Willis Durham in the 70's. They were similar to the '67-'68 MSA's (pre MSA-Micro). Albert Talley could tell you more.

I have seen just one. I played a gig with Carson Wells back in the 80's, and he played a Texan. I remember it had one heck of a stand under it, and must have weighed a ton. It sure sounded great as I recall, especially on C6th. Or maybe it was just Carson.
