Just ordered some lap steel strings from the catalogue. Jings, they're priced nicely! $8 INCLUSIVE of postage to UK! That's more than reasonable.
Just thought I'd flag that up, in case people didn't know. I certainly didn't, till now! |

| Iain, Don't order too many at once. I did just that. Ordered about sixty different guages from a site and waited for ages, then got a card from the sorting office asking me to collect the parcel and pay a further £11.00 for import duty etc.They were Jagwire strings so they were stil worth it. |

yes, I've been burned that way, before! I ordered 2 sets, since I think (think) it's about $18 you're allowed to have as value before Customs hop in and grab at your wallet.
Good tip, though, James, for anyone who's not aware of that. |
