I love the heritage and appearance of Sho Buds but have been wary due to the "issues" some models have. Can anyone enlighten me as to which models have the least problems and/or which have the most "issues". Thanks,G.M.

Gary, it's sort of on a case-by-case basis. A guitar that's 30+ years old could have been mistreated badly or polished up every day, you just don't know until you see it. My Pro-II wouldn't stay in tune when I got it, so I ended up getting it rebuilt. I'm sure there are plenty of Pro-IIs out there the same year as mine that are perfect machines. Mine was evidently not taken care of before me.

There is one thing you can count on, and that is the tone. I plugged mine up at Bobbe's yesterday after playing a XXX brand guitar, (same amp settings, volume pedal, picks, bar, and person playing it), and it sounded so much richer. Hope you find yourself a good one.
