I cannot say enough good about Tom Baker and the Sierra facility in Molalla, Oregon. My Crown U-12, 8 and 5, is now an extended C6, 8 and 5, and it is as smooth as butter, thanks to his knowledge and craftsmanship. I told Tom what I wanted to do with the copedant, and he willingly made it happen in a very short time.

Not a small project, strings 3 thru 12 are tuned standard C6. 1 is G, and 2 is F. Pedals 1 thru 5 are typical C6, 4 thru 8. Pedal 6 lowers 11, and raises 10, 9, and 8 very effortlessly. Pedals 7 and 8 are specialty pulls, and LKR is split.

Thanks, Tom, for your efforts and your passion for the instruments. Very Happy

TO know TOM BAKER is to love him!

He not only knows what he's doing but he's able to deliver for the most discriminating of steel guitarists.

Give him a call just to say HELLO! You never know when you might need his fine talents or someone to listen to your problems..

I've had the pleasure of talking to Tom a few times on the phone for help with my Sierrra. Each time I talk to him I feel really good about this guitar, knowing that he's standing behind it and is there to help. A really down-to-earth, easy-to-talk-to guy. He clearly loves what he does and knows his stuff.

Cheers, Tom! and thanks again for being there and for all your help!

Cliff

Years ago, my pal Ray Morrison (who built my steel) and I just "dropped in" at Sierra one day and were warmly welcomed. We got a tour of the place and got to see some cool stuff "in the back", for instance, the aluminum stock the pedals are made from is in the form of a long length of aluminum already shaped for use and the pedals are simply "cut off" as needed....Cool!

Swell folks at Sierra!

Dennis
