Could someone please tell me the angle of the leg holes and the thread size on the endplates of a 73 Classic MSA. I'm making new endplates for a lefty project I am working on.
Thanks,
Roy |

Roy, not sure about MSA, but I believe Emmons leg angles are around 10 degrees. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Thanks Herb, I bet they are all pretty much the same size. Thanks for the fast reply. Measuring the leg threads, it looks like 1/2 inch 13 tpi. Maybe some one will know for sure.

Oh, sorry Stephen, front legs. I know this because Neil Flanz just had his endplates filled and re-drilled, and this was the angle the machinist figured out, based on the old hole.
The rear legs are probably splayed out at a greater angle. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

My Sho-Bud Professional is around 10 degrees and my Dekley is the same. Both have 1/2-13 threads. |

I believe that on most all pedal steels, the front and rear leg angles are identical. (Really, I can see no valid reason why they shouldn't be?) |

My MSA has the same angle, both front and rear...or at least, it appears that way without actually measuring them. |

Thanks so much for the info. I'll post a pic of this project when I get finished with it.
