Could someone please tell me the angle of the leg holes and the thread size on the endplates of a 73 Classic MSA. I'm making new endplates for a lefty project I am working on.
Thanks,
Roy

Roy, not sure about MSA, but I believe Emmons leg angles are around 10 degrees.

Thanks Herb, I bet they are all pretty much the same size. Thanks for the fast reply. Measuring the leg threads, it looks like 1/2 inch 13 tpi. Maybe some one will know for sure.
Thanks, Roy

Oh, sorry Stephen, front legs. I know this because Neil Flanz just had his endplates filled and re-drilled, and this was the angle the machinist figured out, based on the old hole.

The rear legs are probably splayed out at a greater angle.

My Sho-Bud Professional is around 10 degrees and my Dekley is the same. Both have 1/2-13 threads.

I believe that on most all pedal steels, the front and rear leg angles are identical. (Really, I can see no valid reason why they shouldn't be?)

My MSA has the same angle, both front and rear...or at least, it appears that way without actually measuring them.

Thanks so much for the info. I'll post a pic of this project when I get finished with it.
