Hey Dave, Hope you don't mind me mentioning--- I've got this album you did with Jeremy Wakefield. It's called "Hot Guitars of Biller and Wakefield". You guys sound like you had a BLAST making it!! I have a blast listening to it.

Joe, if i ever reach a point where i can do what YOU do on steel guitar, i'll be one one happy guy! i have the deepest respect for you and i love the records you did with Jim C. i remember seeing the 10 gallon cats at the paradise lounge in Frisco years ago and i was blown away.

James i'm glad you like the B+W cd and you bet we had a great time doing it. it was live so we sifted through a zillion takes, arguing over which ones to keep since we could never both play our best solos on the same track!!

i wish my sho bud still looked that clean but i've been dragging it to gigs for the last 10 months and it's starting to show it. it's got that great classic sound that appeals to my rather old school sensibilities.

once again, thanks for the warm welcome, guys, and i look forward to chatting with you all.

Last July my wife and I were in Austin. We found out Justin Travino was at Jinny's little Longhorn Lounge. It was Justin a drummer and a Steel Player. They were great. Do you know who the steel Player was ? I think his name was Jim....?

Bill, the steel player in question was Jim Loessberg, without a doubt, one of the very best. i'm proud to say that he is my teacher and my mentor.

It was a trip we will always remember. We got to go to Big Bill Lister's house and play music with him.We also went to my all time favorite singer Darrell McCall and play a little music with him and Mona. He listened to couple cuts of my CD I was working on and agreed to co produce it with me. How lucky can you get.
