I can't make it either. I've got the flu. First year I took a flu shot. Never took one before and never got the flu...go figure. I also took a round of vaccines for all kinds of foreign diseases to prepare for a business trip to Africa in July.

Jim Hartley is supposed to sing "Only Girl I Can't Forget". He's got to do it again for me the next time. He don't know it, but I had planned to ask Roger Crawford to play "I'll Sign the Papers" too. I know I'm missing a good time.

Ernie: I know about those car troubles. The Chief of Police of Hazard, KY rear ended me last week while I was sitting at a traffic light. Didn't really hurt anything except his feelings. He was a nice guy. Funny how you meet people sometimes.

Drat...looks like Rick isn't the only one with a "bug". We'll put "I'll Sign The Papaers" on the set list for May. Hope everyone has a great time, should be a killer show.

Well,
Another great show is in the books..for all the can't shows, won't shows, didn't shows, you missed a barn burner...maybe you can be there in May..sorry you guys had the 'bug' and are recovering..hope you are back to speed soon..and our buddy Charles Reece is doing fine after his surgery..and our pal David "Porky" Christmas has been made almost well, and he came and played.
Our all star staff band played super, and were joined by our good buddy, guitar great Jack Mollette and also Jerry Burns and Bob Strickland..and another guitarist who I cannot remember his name, and Ken Fox...so along with Woody, and Johnny, and Steve Gambrell, we had a star lineup of guitarists..along with all the fine steel guitarists, headed by Herby Wallace , and Mr. 'Soul' ,John Hughey..
Don't miss the next one..
Thanks for the invite and all the hard work of the staff and volunteers, and another great show..
RP...'come on in'...
