"Classic" Steelguitar music from a classy guy!!
I still can't figure out how Jody did some of those licks and is still doing.
Speed, dexterity, tone, soul to the bone, it's all there on Hot Club of America.
To think he was doing this music and technique in 1958 is mind boggling!! What a treat for both non-pedllers and PSG Steelers alike! TX
Rgds,
Ron

It's Easy
Whe you have three of the finest musicians to work with as I did
It's a piece of cake, sometimes I had to swallow hard, but thanks to Johnny Augie and George. It was so easy.
Thank you for your compliments, I wished Johnny and the boys were here to see this. We NEVER imagined anything like this would happen when we recorded back in July of 1958.

Jody,I remember When You and Johnny Cucci were rehursing the HCOA album ,and johnny would be eating those hot peppers with his soup.My friend Rick Martinez from Higgins Texas and my self love those hot peppers also ,we could eat the hotest peppers that were ever grown. Jody Yoy can't beat that spicy food. Thats why you called it The Hot Club.
