Plastic?" tone bars

Post by Ryan Spearman »

Wondering if anybody knows where to find tone bars that are NOT made of steel.
A friend of mine is looking for them, because he's used them in the past and drills into them in order to make modifications.
Any help would be appreciated.

Look up David Mason on the forum - he makes a *big* plexiglass tone bar that is amazing - sounds as good as steel and is light and VERY quick! It's what I use now.

Why don't you give Goodrich a call. They send a plastic bar along with their Match Bro unit. It contributes to a more authentic sound.
