Getting tired of the cold, ice and snow? Come help us warm up an afternoon with fun and fellowship at the Ozark SGA bi-monthly open jam on February 18, 1:00pm to 5:00pm, at the Branson Community Center, 201 Compton Drive, Branson, MO. The afternoon will also include a training session on basic pedal steel guitar for those who would like to attend. Be sure to bring your guitars and amps. If you plan on attending the training session, please let me know so we can make sure of room arrangements.

If you care to bring snacks, please do so. Looking forward to seeing all of you on the 18th!!

I'm getting tired of sawing downed limbs and trees. I will be there. I met a new steel guitar player in Springfield last week (playing only 7 months) and I will show him this as well. He was looking for a place to go for help getting started (what a great opportunity).

Guys and Gals--This is a really nice place to meet and enjoy fellowship and fun and Hank is doing a great job of promoting a fun agenda for us all. Let's get behind him and make this a great venture ! My wife, Eva and I are certainly planning on attending if it's the Maker's will !! Smile

Hey Hank, Here are a few photos of the last jam in December 2006.

A couple of us have noticed that Mike McGee strategically positioned himself between the soda and snack machines. Looks like an easy reach either way.... ha ha

Here is the "Left Flank"

Here is the "Right Flank"

Here are the "Generals"

I don't know if we had a better time on the floor or back in the "Mess Hall". What a food spread !!!

It's not to late to sign up for the basic steel guitar session. You must be a member to attend the session. However you don't have to be a member to play in the jam. Come join the fun and fellowship.
