What do these guitars go for. The guitar is a S10 with legs . A friend has one and may sell and if the price is right I'd like to get it. Thanks for any help.

Tony,
I tried to search for it but couldn't find it, but one sold recently on ebay that had legs (and two pickups, which was rare) for a little over $400. Considering how inexpensive vintage laps are, we tend to think that even $800 is too much to pay for a great vintage lap, but think of how much vintage guitars go for. It's just a matter of time before the value of rarer vintage laps (like an Alkire) starts soaring, I believe, anyways. But nobody's ever come to me for investment purposes, so you might want to possibly ignore my advice.

Graham,
That's about what I paid for mine, too, on ebay about seven years ago. The guitar-shaped Epiphone, right, with the nice, big, solid tuning knobs (not the little white ones that deteriorate)?
