I have a U12 MSA steel guitar + Goodrich 120 Volume Pedal for sale.

Guitar recently serviced and in good condition, the Volume Pedal is hardly used.

Includes strings / bars / finger picks / tuning keys/ GeorgeL cables .

The case is tatty.

£900 - Prefer buyer to collect - Surrey UK area. No offers I'm afraid : saving for a Lowden !

Hi,

Do you have any pics? Do you know what year it is?

Thanks,

When I purchased the guitar I was told the approx year of build was 1986/87 . I guess the Serial Number on the inside of the guitar casing could be used to verify that, although I have not attempted to do this.

You are speaking to the only person in the world that does not own a digital camera. I have the original digital pics when I bought the guitar a couple of years ago and I can send these through if you wish.

Having had a few requests for digital images I shall use my trusty SLR camera and get my local chemist to digitise the images.

This may take a little time !

Anyone interested is welcome to pop round and play the guitar .

Boy oh boy, does that guitar bring back memories. Had one just like it, but in White Tidewood. Excellent steel and will take anything the road can dish out. As reliable as the day is long.

If it was in the states, I'd buy it.
Best regards,
Mike

Thanks guys. Yes, it's a beautiful guitar. I've never really done it justice but it still sounds awesome.

Hope I can find it a happy home. :?

Hi Simon
I've sent you an email with my tel numbers so we can have a chat about the PSG. I'm interested but haven't played PSG only Lap Steel for about a year and have read a little about universal tuning and I think I might be able to handle it.

Oh and hi to everyone as this is my first post and I have lurked for about a year!!

Regards
Hussein

To any interested buyers....... I sold this guitar to Simon, and can confirm that it was originally owned by the late Bobby Garrett. I bought it directly from Bobby Garretts son.

Many thanks for the extra info Ted. You supplied a very nice guitar there but I've set me heart on another acoustic ( Lowden which I believe come from your way ) and something has to give financially.

Any steelers who need advice/psg related gear could do far worse than contact Ted at Rainbow Music in Ireland.

Rgrds,

Simon.
