We're redoing the Rains Steel Guitar Website with a real sharp look and new player section that will have player tips, new ideas & insights related to the steel guitar and music industry.
We want to add the names of all Rains Steel Guitar players. If your are a Rains owner and would like to have your name added to the website, please email me the following:
1. Your full name
2. City & State
3. Rains model (i.e. D-10, 8+6; black mica)
4. Your email address
5. A picture of you and your Rains Steel (for future use on website)
We will start with listing the players names etc and eventually add pictures of our Rains players.
ALSO, what ideas would you like to see on the new Rains Steel Guitar website?

Hey.....I'm a very Happy "RAINS" player/owner.....'06 D-10 w/8 & 5 (gonna add at least 2 or 3 KL's in a while. Chestnut Burl is the color, very beautiful guitar and with the combination of the amplification system I have and the GL's 10-1 pups....this is without a doubt the best sounding and playing guitar I've ever owned in the nearly 37 years I've been playing. Man I do love this guitar!!!!!

I'm no expert but I have owned 7 other steel guitars and My Wineberry Mica Rains SD 10 is the smoothest and easiest playing steel I have ever had. I love it.
I'll get the info and pic to you soon. Thanks Bill!

Hello Bill, My new SD-10 is just about done. I'm going back to Texas to pick it up as soon as you folks thaw out. If you have seen Gary lately, you may have seen it.
Black laquer finish with diamond inlay, wood neck. I need your Email address. It doesn't show up in your profile. I would love to participate in the new web site.

Thank you Marlin, Bill, Jim, Roger, Dave, Allan and John for your responses. I did recieve the pics and there are some beautiful Rains Steel Guitars out there!!!
My part is done on the website concept design and it will be up in the next couple weeks. With the busyness of the holiday season etc, we were all a little busy. Once we update the Rains website, we'll then take it to the next step by adding the pics etc.
As a Factory Direct Rep, I'm excited to meet everyone of the Rains players as some point. I hope every Rains player that attends the Birmingham, Al show this weekend will come up and say hi. Thanks again guys for your help and call me if we can help you with your Rains! Bill Simmons 817.929.8063 |
