Lately, when I use my pc first thing in the morning, I notice IE won't open. At first, I thought the DSL was not connected, but I am able to open Outlook mail. I reboot, and it's ok. Then, when I come home after work, same thing. What could be causing this? Not a big deal, just annoying.

Are you powering off the PC overnight or just putting it in standby? If it's just going into standby that is most likely the problem. Standby can be problematic and cause all sorts of problems. Many PC vendors suggest not using Standby on a desktop because of the many flakey problems it can cause. Standby and Hibernate were originally designed for laptops to conserve battery power.
If it is a standby issue, instead of using standby, just "power off" the monitor and hard drive(s) at whatever time interval you select. That is what is recommended instead of using standby. - |

It must have been a fluke. As quickly as it started, it has disappeared.
