I watched it last time it was on ebay. 300054953037 was the auction number ,description is different. Same picture .Reminds me of a Williams keyless tuner and fret board. But the rest who knows.

I know.........and thing is, that seller has definitely received emails by now telling him it's not a 'Bud. Do you think he'll correct himself? No way. Rolling Eyes

...and the best part of the description:

"The winner must contact to seller after the bid ended, you has 5 days to complete payment or bid will be avoided."

you've been warned - buyer bewhere.

"The lap steel is very nice and Unix professional custom made, very easy to setup the pedal is perfectly soft very well working, no sloppy."

I wonder how much shipping is from Mars.

Also pedals, frame and changer don't look like any Sho-Bud.

I looked several times and started to say that I don't see any thing that looks like it is from a Sho-Bud. But then I noticed maybe the legs could be!! I have a deck of cards that looks more like a Sho - Bud than that does. Maybe he meant
Show (your) Buds and have a good laugh.

Seller is a piece of work. Aside from writing at a third grade level (no child left behind, indeed), browsing through the negative feedback, one finds stuff like refusing to ship the goods to the auction winner because basically it's a free country and he (she?) doesn't have to sell to someone if he doesn't want to. Neat.

I sent an email when it first hit telling him/her that it was not a Sho~Bud but it did have a few features that looked like it came from an old Williams keyless...

The response:

are you sure budd?

So, it is a Sure~Bud Smile

Maybe someone should run that license plate number, and see what comes up.

Has anybody else noticed in the picture that the pedal rods have a disconnect on both ends and not a hook on one end. Triple raise and lower ,adjustable lower springs. I wonder what it really is.
I also what the desciption will say next time it is on ebay. Last time it was from a pawn shop and no idea of the make.

That guitar is an early Williams keyless. Williams pickup, changer, keyless mechanism and fretboard. All logos have been removed. It seems to be in fairly good shape, but is NOT a Sho-Bud.

It actually looks like a pretty cool guitar. But that seller is sketchy. I don't understand the motive behind their deceit.

I *would* think the description would be modified or questions listed.

But I don't get worked up over bad grammar. In this case, it pretty clearly appears to be a non-English speaking seller. While it sometimes it makes for...interesting...reading, I don't consider it a "fault".
