New DVD - Redd Volkaert & Cindy Cashdollar Live

Post by Andy Volk »

FYI .....
Redd Volkaert and Cindy Cashdollar have a new live DVD of their smoking guitar and non-pedal performances at Austin's continental Club.

From Redd's Site:
"On Live in Austin, Volkaert and his band are joined by master steel guitarist Cindy Cashdollar. Together, they rip through 17 country standards and Volkaert originals. It’s Volkaert at his finest—all over the fingerboard and using the monstrous tone that has influenced many (most notable, perhaps, Brad Paisley). Plus, you also get a tour of Austin, riding along with Volkaert in his hot rod as he tells his life story."

The DVD is $25 ... http://www.reddvolkaert.com/storeframe.html

Andy, I highly recommend this DVD. I bought a copy from Redd a couple of weeks ago when he and Cindy were playing at the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar in Austin. It's a great DVD and is well worth the money. Redd and Cindy work so well together.

Just got a copy of the DVD and it's wonderful. Cindy plays so musically on her Stringmaster and Redd spins out one amazing Tele lick after another without seeming to ever break a sweat regardless of the tempo or complexity of the changes. A really enjoyable band.
