Chat Room woes

Post by Howard Tate »

I got my new password yesterday, but when I try to enter it says "Incorrect username or password". Anyone have any ideas what's wrong?

Howard my friend , hang in there. The change with the room has caused a couple problems, even Ray could not get in lastnight. The guys are working hard to get things working smooth again. Don`t give up Image

Thank's, Hook. I'll bet with Ray not there people were cussin' and fightin' and carrying on. Ray has been emailing me, it will get ironed out I'm sure.

For the last couple of days I've been unable to access the room either... but I get one of those "this page is not available" pages.
This is not a complaint, I just wanted Ray, Don, and the other folks that have worked so hard on the room to know about it.
Hook, I'm also sure all the bugs will be worked out soon.

John and Herman, thats the same message Ray was getting so it sounds like the same problem. Don has been called out for extra hours on his day job all this week so has not had much time either. Hopefully you guys can get in this evening.

Folks, we are currently having some problems with the servers. Service is sporadic at best. Everything should be back up and running soon and I will be emailing everyone a new link to use to log on. I have been swamped with my regular job and haven't had much time to do anything but sleep and work. Poor Ray has been trying to untangle this nightmare for a couple days now and I think he has lost even more hair!!!

I will be sending the info as fast as we get it available to us. Thanks for everyones understanding.

Folks,

As most of you know, we have been having quite a few problems with the Steel Guitar Chat Room server, for the past few days.
I would like to take this time to announce that the server problems have been solved. There is a *NEW *address that you will have to use to enter the Steel Guitar Chat Room. It is http://steelguitars.ivocalize.net/

Please take this time to add this link to your favorites or bookmarks. This is the address that you will have to use to enter the Room. Your passwords that you have received will still work with this new server. If anyone should have problems entering into the room, please feel free to email me at donpoland@steelin4fun.com or Ray Walker at rwalker5@nc.rr.com

When you log in you will see that there has been some new improvements to the room also. I think everyone will be able to benefit from these new improvements. This room is constantly growing and improving, and we appreciate all of you that have been so patient while we try to make these improvements. There will be further improvements thru-out the year and we look forward to having each and everyone of you share in this room with us.

Again, please make sure you use the *NEW ADDRESS* to enter the Steel Guitar Chat Room. http://steelguitars.ivocalize.net/

Regards,

Nigel, I have emailed you and hopefully fixed the problem. Your name was spelled wrong in the user log. See you there Image
