I have to replace a deteriorate Fender champ fretboard. I have a lot of aluminium sheet and found a company where it could be done at a very low cost. But, How this fretboard is made, etched or silkscreened?

Thanks

I have an older Fender and the finger board looks etched to me.

The only Fender I ever owned was a Stringmaster, and the fretboard was embossed, but the singles were probably different.

Seems like it would be easy to set up a jig to use with your Dremel tool. There's a formula to calculate each fret's spacing. The formula is available in many places on the Internet.
