The Hot Club Of America

Post by Jody Carver »

Thanks to all of you who have purchased our Hot Club Of America. I have sold out the first batch and will be receiving the second shipment sometime early next week. I am pleased at some of the comments from those of you who have heard this old recording reissued on cd format.I am pleased and suprised at the interest generated by the people on this Forum. I should be receiving another limited amount sometime next week

Thanks again I appreciate it.

Jody...
I got mine in St. Louis from Herb Steiner, and I have listened, and listened, and then listened some more. What a great snapshot of great musicianship (is that a word?). I really love the CD, and it gets played a lot at the Easton household. Thanks for making that one available again. Folks, if you don't have this one, order it from Jody and you are in for a real treat!!

Jody, I love my copy... thanks so much for making it available. And Dave, you crack me up. I had a girlfriend a while back who's five year old used to love listening to me practice. She'd get all exicted and shout "Mark's gonna play on his Ziddle!".

This is a must have recording ! As I listen to it there is this musical quality that Jody gets that I very rarely hear. He has this amazing feel. The phrasing is agressive but swings and has a sweetness to it. Besides all the other great things about the record there is a wealth of music just listening to the depth of expression within Jody's phrasing.

bob Lee will be distributing the Hot Club Of America on an exclusive agreement. I find my time taken up by other projects and will have the Forum offering the the "Hot Club Of America" on a full time basis.

Thank you.

Another bump for one of the best albums ever recorded!

It is very much a part of the "Swingin' West" programming! www.swinginwest.com

Jody,

This for both the great album you made and also for the bump that you gave me yesterday on my thread. How quickly these things fall.
