I have been informed by and old friend that played sax in the band on the Arthur Godfrey show that while Hula Hines did play steel on some of these shows, George Barr did play most of the time. I remember George was playing a beautiful number, one of the few times Arthur allowed a steel solo, and Arthur broke in yelling cut and proceeded to strum his uke and beller tiny bubbles. CC
