Thank you, Jim. I've been listening to the "Beats Walking" CD quite a bit, and can't say enough about your band! Just a super group, with a super steel player.

Mike.. how much for the "Deluxe Hag Bag" including S&H to the UK ?
Did you enjoy working with Robert Miz..He has some great songs written by the Swarbrigs...I was fortunate enough to be involved in the production and playing on some of his first work in Ireland..

Basil & Frank,

If you are willing to take the Hag Bag CDs and graphics without the jewel cases (you would then put them into your own jewel cases when they arrive), there would be no additional charge. If you want the materials packaged in cases and shrink wrap, then please ad $5.00 and I will cover the rest of the postage.

Basil, I very much enjoyed working with Robert Mizzell. He is one of the finest singers, entertainers, and people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I expected that because he was Ireland's #1 country artist, he would have an attitude and be hard to work with. I found the opposite to be true and I hope to work with him again in the future. I have heard the Mizzell cuts you played on and I compliment you on the fine steel work.

All the best,

Mike

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the folks who have replied back to me with such favorable comments. Most ask if I plan to do another such project, and the answer is affirmative. In fact, I have at least two more on the table now for future release. The next one will most likely be released right before the St. Louis Show.

Guy's, you can't go wrong with this one. i think it is the best teaching approach going, or if you just want to listen, it is an extremely fine musical project.

Hi Mike and everybody on the forum, I have got a copy of Old Hag, and it is a great CD. Plus other than featuring Mike on steel, which he does a bang up job, it also features one of my favorites of all time, my friend RALPH MOONEY!!!!!!!! You owe it to your self to pick up a copy from Mike.

Thanks, Red. You Da Man!

Thanks to everyone who has supported me on my first "Bag". It has already reached a point which makes me consider it successful, and to my knowledge, every one has been very happy with it.

For those who might be interested, there's another "Bag" right around the corner with 12 good old familiar country tunes (most of which, I believe, have not been recorded on steel before). It will follow the same format, which is:

1. A 12 track steel CD
2. R/T CD of all songs
3. Basic rhythm tracks with vocals CD
4. Four tabbed songs
5. Detailed instructional demonstration CD's for the four songs.
6. Nashville number charts for all song
7. Have I left anything out?

I sometimes have a well known steel guitarist as a guest on my CD's, but this time it's a singer you'll all be familiar with (In fact, He's a member of the Country Music Hall Of Fame). It has been a lot of fun to record, and I'm looking forward to getting all the pieces put together and getting it released. You'll see it on the Forum, of course.
