i walked into a little music store near where i live, and they have a very nice '53 gibson consolette steel for sale. it's all original with it's 4 non-telescoping legs and brown case. i really liked it, but their asking price of $1200 seemed kinda high. i looked on ebay and saw one that had a starting bid of $599 that got no bids. what are these guitars going for?

The last one I saw on ebay sold in the high $700.00 range.

Those P90 pick ups are pretty hot.

Dunce cap optional

Howard..it's small wonder why you are having trouble playing the "ONE NOTE SAMBA" ! That note should be Bb instead of B natural ... Hope this helps you to gain fame and fortune.
