1997 5 string banjo, looks great, plays great, sounds great. $2995 to lower 48. Would sell for over $4600 new. Tell your friends. Would trade for a clean PP in good working condition.

After 47 years I guess I have never gotten the joke about banjo. I love the sound, I love to play it, it is a happy sounding instrument. It is one of two American instruments.

If the joke is about banjo players and their obnoxious ways that is another story, have you heard the one about most rock guitar players.

All of this aside this is a great instrument I just need to move it into the hands of someone who will play it more than I do.

Sorry, Larry. No ill will intended. Being a steel guitar forum, I think poking fun at banjo players or their instruments is just that...poking fun.

Good luck with you sale....and a big BUMP.

Larry,
I play banjo as well (lefthanded). If you don't sell on here The Banjo Hangout is a good site to list it on.
Good luck.

Proud to say I've been lucky to have purchased a Peavey Nashville 400 & Ibanez Artist Banjo from Larry, & both were in excellent condition and packed with the utmost care. steve t
