Interesting, never heard that one on steel, but if anyone could pull it off and really make it sound great it would be Roy.

Incredible ..Roy! Image ..smilin' at your talent and expertise..again! I first heard this song in a Seattle club (Jazz Alley) performed live by none other... than Stan Getz/Astrud & João Gilberto in 1964. It was enchanting then, and still is today! Thanks for sharing it (and your considerable talent) with us Roy. It's a keeper! Image dan

That is fantastic!
Is that the arrangement found in Mike Ihde's book "A Different Slant"?

That file I recorded about three years ago
using the Alkire (EHarp) tuning on a 10 string acoustic steel of mine.
Lee's question was " How would the Girl....
sound on Leavitt? "
I have never tried it on the Leavitt Tuning
but it would probably sound comparible if I
did?
Thanks for the interest and comments.

BY GOLLY... that was great Roy. If you ever do it on th Leavitt, I'd be interested in purchasing a tab. Thanks for sparking my interest in the Leavitt tuning. LEE

Hi Lee,

If you go here: http://members.core.com/~junod/musicmikeihde.html

You can find the contact info to reach Mike
Ihde. The other nine songs in the book are
