Peavey Footcontroller and new cable, 3 to sell
Peavey Footcontroller and new cable, 3 to sell
I have three of these for sale and they will have new 25 foot midi cables from Peavey (cost me $30.00 each, ordered three today).
These will be available in a week. Let me know if you are in need! I sold my last one on Ebay for $99.00 and freight!
I need $90.00 each for the footswitch and cable plus freight.
There is much you can do with these for a Profex 2 and Bassfex (same unit as a Profex 2). It allows you to see same digital read out, scroll thru banks of settings, and turn on/off individual effects in the chain!
I like to take a nice clean setting then add distortion. I then toggle it off and save the patch with it off! Every time I come back to that setting it is clean and a red light shows that the distortion is off. I just toggle it in as needed with the footswitch. All other effects that are on have a green led, turns red when you switch off the effect.

No these are specific to the Bassfex and Profex 2. I believe you need the PFC-10 foot controller
The PFC-10 also works for the Tubefex and Transtubefex. With a version upgrade to the PFC-10 and the Tubefex or Transtubefex (version 2.0) the ability is gained to toggle effects on and off. I would thing that same upgrade would be available for your amp. It also includes new stickers/decals to apply to the PFC-10 in the kit. Check with Mike Browm at Peavey Customer Service at 1-877-732-8391

The Peavey cable provides power to the unit via the 8-pin cable. no need for a wall wart at all. I do have two extra wall warts and will throw one in if you want! I have tried the foot-controller with a 5-pin midi and a wall wart, not the same! You do not get all the controls (can't turn effects on/off) with a 5 pin midi.
[This message was edited by Ken Fox on 08 October 2005 at 07:56 AM.]
