We were surfing the channels last night and came across Emeril and noticed he had a country band. We waited until his break and as it turned out there was a Franklin Steel in the band.

Since that's taped in NYC, could that have been Bob Hoffnar???? I know he plays a Franklin.

Bob, the only other thing I remember about the band was they had a female fiddle player. Does that ring any bells with the local bands?

Why do you think it has to be a local band? I've seen bands and performers from all over on the show. Saw Pete Anderson once. That was cool!

Just thought they would use local NYC area bands since it was taped there.

I was also flipping channels but when I saw a cowboy hat, I was sure there was a steeler. I patiently waited for the break, and there he was. BTW, I will take Rachael anyday over Mr. Bam!!!!

Could have been a rerun of this "country" band. They did have a steel on the episode I saw a while back. http://top40-charts.com/news.php?nid=22728&string=Van

Stephen, the Van Zandts! One of my oldest, and bestest friends plays guitar (6-string) for them. And I just hung up the phone with him, haven't talked to him in months, and jumped back on here. What a co-inkydink!
