Mine ain't turning gray, it is turning loose. Guess I can blame my maternal grandfather. At least I am not as bad as some of my brothers, including the younger ones.

I have to say that the bald head seems to matter least on the LEAST image-based instrument on the bandstand... Hell. nobody knows what's going on over on stage right anyway... ha Anybody disagree?

When I first took up steel, it was refreshing how no time or energy was used trying to look "cool" - all effort is focused on hitting the right note(s)!

Seems like I had a full head of hair when I started trying to learn to play steel. Still trying to learn, but now I'm slick bald on top. Must be some connection, I'm sure. But then I look at BE, some guys have all the luck, say nothing of talent. DS

I have to put up my hand as did my pal Ken Byng. When it started to go, I decided the hard task of shaving my head each and every morning. Actually quite a chic magnet in a way. I'm 59, 60 next month my partner Jessica of 2 years is 26 Image Image Image

I, too, am quite hairless on the top. The rest has turned grayish-white, along with my beard. Some people say, that, I'd make a good Santa Clause. Ha! Ha! Ha! NOT !!!!

I use to have hair on top. I have found that instead of growing out like it was when I was younger, It grows inward and comes out of my nose and ears.

You know - the sum of hair on the body is constant. When it leaves the top of your head it just starts growing in other places....8-?
[This message was edited by Uwe Haegg on 29 November 2006 at 05:20 AM.]

No dandruff, but I have to watch out for "yellow waxy buildup". A few quick swipes with a "Blitz Cloth" and I'm good to go. Image

It's funny when the hair on your head eventually ends up on your shoulders and out your ears. Image

From an old Spike Jones album ("Thank You, Music Lovers"):

"Doodles, I notice your hair is getting thin."

"So who wants fat hair?"

I found a great hair spray for thinning hair. You won't grow more hair but it makes your head shrink to fit what you have.
