This forum is great. thankyou.
I have two questions. Did anyone know or remember a great pedal steel player named Dick Watts? He played in southern Md. from about the 50's to the 80's. He was also a exellent machinest and did some serious revamps on his steels. Dick passed away some time ago but I'm friends with his nephew and would love to pass a story on.
My next question is what are some of your favorite dlb. 8 tunings. I'm using c6 on the bottom and e9th on the top stopping on the 8th string of a 10 string tuning. I love the c6 but the e9 without peddals and the bass strings sounds too high. I'm trying to purchase a dlb. 10 pedal but have to wait untill after the holidays. i look forward to your knowlege. thanks. Gary Rue
