I had the opportunity to produce a song of my son Brad's at Gene Breeden Studios in Nashville back in Feb of 2005. It was a great honor to have Lloyd Green play steel on the session. His playing, his tone....everything about what he did for this song is nothing short of outstanding.

I believe that was one of the songs Lloyd played for me on a CD in his car outside Duane Marrs' shop in mid Feb.
It was then that I understood more about Mr Green. His joy is Recording. He told me as much, and seemed as enthused about the cuts he had as he had about some of the other ones he had been doing that we hear on the "big" radio. Also he had been doing some work on Todd Snyder's cuts on Oh Boy Records, ( John Prine's Label) that he was really up about.
Gene Breedon is a Portland guy, and Ripcord Records here produced the bulk of everything that was recorded here in the "good old days".
Great song, and you lucked in a guy that loves to do what he does. A perfect storm for a great songwriter with great support from his family.

Your son has a wonderful talent, what a thrill it must be to listen to his music. Fine singer and writer. Lloyd and Gene Breeden are always great.

Very nice arrangement and well done! I worked for Gene Breeden for a few years in his Recording Studio he had in Vancouver, Washington before he moved to Nashville and it was really nice to hear him pick again, he is one of the best guitar pickers in Nashville. And Lloyd Green, as far as I am concerned has more heart and soul than any steel picker there is or will be when it comes to commercial playing, he just plays mighty pretty. And both of these guys are true Gentlemen and nice people to boot!
Very nice song and I truly hope it does something for you on the charts.
Gene
