Hope it's a warmer day than today ... burrrrrr Image

Seriously ... I "toured" the venue ... we're good to go with any kinda weather ...

But a bright, clear spring day ... where we can utilize the outdoor stage and grandstand ... would be ideal ...

So if any y'all have connections with the "weather guy" ... now's the time to use 'em ... Image

All 4 posters are killer, but if you have to pick just one - I'd say go with #1.

Man it sounds great - I'm going to try and be there!

I'd be great if y'all could make it ...

Dulles International (IAD) is the closest ... about 40 minutes due east of here ... straight shot down Route 7 ...

Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) is a nice alternative ... a very scenic drive past Burkittsville, MD ...

Image
And yes ... the Witch has confirmed her presence ... she's an ardent fan of the Hula Monsters ... Image

Thru historic Harper's Ferry ... past Charles Town (for you gamblers) ... right to the Fest ... Image

Reagan International (DCA) is the another choice ... if you wanna see some of DC's sights ...

Rick, will the new HSGA Thong be available at your event?

Where is the closest parking for a Bluebird?

Sorry Jack ... you'll have to get them at Joliet '06.

But ... my Master of Ceremony will be premiering my new line of swimwear ...

Certainly no shortage of roosts around here ... ... even if tomorrows "ice storm" knocks down a few branches & small trees ... Image Image

SOUNDS like lots of fun.........but will the snow be gone? I warned you about living on top of a tall mountain.
EACH of the graphics is super! What an artist! That almost guarantees a successful event.
[This message was edited by Ray Montee on 01 January 2006 at 05:07 PM.]

Looking forward to hearing the "virtuoso uke man". He's probably better than me.

Hopefully by the fest my new custom made uke will be ready. I'm pretty certain it will be. Here's a sneak peak of the koa back and redwood top. The redwood looks splotchy because rubbing alcohol was applied to the raw wood to expose the grain for the photos. Some of the alcohol dried during the photo shoot.

HI Gerald, Are you going to put a pickup in it? If so, what kind. I'm having a Fishman put in an old Martin I snagged. It should be ready soon.

Jack, I'm going with an under the saddle passive pickup made by the Pick Up The World company. I will plug in through an endpin jack, Jack.

Hey Rick! The tune on Jerry Byrd's "music" page is hereby dedicated to you and your big time forthcoming shindig. That's how great olde country music used to sound. Hope your friends will enjoy it.
