Lionel played a great set at the Irish Steel Guitar Festival last month. He played at our festival in 2005 for the first time, and we just had to bring him back for 2006.
Thanks again Lionel, you done a wonderful job. Hope to see you in 2007 ... Ted

I really enjoyed this video. i even joined up with Daily motion so I could comment. Great job playing and singing. When I played 6 tring more, I used to do the scating and playing together, but haven't thought of it much on the steel. Great job. Keep them coming. Larry

Yeah Lionel is a supper player.
He came down to my studio a few years back,
and really wailed on my old Bud.

Nice chap too.

Paul, dunno what kind of amp Lionel is playing through, but he plays on a german made steel guitar which is WBS.
They are currently amongst the best manufactured psg's in all our small world.

you can find their website just here: http://www.wbssteelguitars.com/

Lionel has been recently playing a WBS D10
(in pic above)
German made by Fo'bro Wolfgang Bednar

previously he was pickin' on a Wiesner D10
Swiss made - out of production since the passing of Mr Weisner
Lionel's amp is a PV Nash 400 or 500
