Welcome Tor, I spent some time in Oslo Norway back in the early 80's, and I met some of the nicest folks in my travels, and some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen.

You will enjoy the forum, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Velkommen, Tor Arve!
Can you tell us more about that preamp that can be seen in one of the pics on your website? What does it do?

Hello everybody, thanks for the welcome!
The preamp pictured on my webpage is a Korg unit made for eletric guitar. I think it works quite well on steel. I use it after the volume pedal in the chain, and use it for overdrive/distortion and it also has a tap-delay function which I use a lot.
It is very handy having it right beside my hand so that I can adjust gain-volume-bass-treble-middle without having to turn around and adjust on the amp. http://baroy.no/?vis=artikkel&fid=55&id=2708200613530320320&t=Steel%20preamp
