Can anyone tell me where you get the Newman fingerpicks I was told they cost about $5.00 each but are really great. If anyone knows where I can get some please let me know.

I really like the Newman fingerpicks for steel. I can't use them on banjo or dobro, but on steel they feel fine. Not too impressed with the Newman thumbpick though. I've found the Zookie M-20, or the medium Golden Gate thumbpick works the best for me. Some steelers like the old Nationals. Some like Dunlops, Kysers, etc. Every hand is different.
