Johnny Lee of Urban Cowboy fame is coming to Amarillo soon and was wondering if anyone know who might be playing steel for him now. I know it used to be Phil Coonz(sp) before his health got bad. Hope to here something soon. Thanks!

Danny N. is currently playing with Johnny. I had a fun couple of years with him, but decided to go with Aaron Watson, since he is working a lot more. Also, Aaron's music features a lot more steel than Johnny's! Anyone who is not familiar with Aaron, come check us out some time. If you like good country music with lots of steel and fiddle, you won't be disappointed.
Sorry, had to get that ad in!
Larry, or anyone else, if you get the chance to see the Johnny Lee show, it's always a good time. Johnny has some great new material, and you never know what old classics he might pull out. His singing is better than ever.

Danny, enjoyed your set last night with Johnny Lee at the Brazoria County Fair in Angleton, TX. You sounded great and did a fine job on Sax too. Wish I could have gotten through the crowd to meet you.
