Hi Guys,
I met Fred Justice for the first time this past weekend. He is building me one of his excellent steel guitar cases for my 14 stringer.
If you have not heard Fred's new Steel Guitar CD titled "Mixing It Up." You need to order a copy from him. He is really a great player, and this CD has something for everyone on it. I especially like his cuts of "Shawdow of Your Smile," "Blue Kentucky Girl," and the Hank Sr. song titled "Half As Much."
The music is great and there are some very nice arrangements and production by steeler Mike McGhee. The influence of Buddy Emmons and other steelers is evident on this cd.
I highly recommend you give a listen to Fred's artistry. You will not be disappointed.
May GOD bless!
Terry Wood |

Don't buy Fred's CD------------------unless you want to hear some real pretty E9th and some great pedal changes. Fred isn't pretty but his playing makes up for it. Danny |

What can I say but the "guy" is just amazing! When I grow up, I wanna play just like him. A lot of credit goes to Mike McGee who recorded it for him and mastered it. Between Fred, Mike, Jerry & Austin, Curt Shoemaker, Terry Bethel, Dave Musgrave, Ronnie Neighbors, Wayne Smith, Cliff Waterman, Keith Hilton, Scotty Henderson and a few others, Baxter Springs is gonna be full of recording stars on the 6-7-8 of Oct.
Fred, you did yourself proud my friend! Ray

I think Fred sounds like a cross between Buddy and Ron Elliott...what could possibly be better? Someone already asked for Fred's first Gospel CD; I'm in line for number two.
