Who’s the Steeler? Nice lap steel tone on the first song ala David Lindley. He was way in the back with the guitar on his lap and you couldn’t see anything.

Anyone know what his rig is and how he got the great tone?

A guy named Robbie Flint has played in AJ's band, The Strayhorns, for as long as I can remember. Not sure if he was on the show or what setup/rig was used.

Yeah that was Robbie. I think he was playing a tele set up dobro style. On Chattahoochee he was on a D-10 Derby. Robbie is top notch, although Alan didn't let him do the C6 solo on "I dont even know your name" the last time I saw them.
