Everybody has favorite guitars they've enjoyed over the years. So, here's a chance for players to tell a little bit about them. My three favorites would probably be a D-10 Rains, dark burgundy as #1. Ok, #2 will be a Emmons Lashley Lagrande II, black mica, D-10 and #3 would be a Sho-Bud LDG I picked up in the mid 80's and played awhile. It was the green stain wood body. There's been several but these three standout. Thanks. |

Billy, My first Guitar was a SD10 GFI 3x5 i started on in 1997 which i still have and really like. My Second Guitar was LDG 77-78 SD10 3x4 green which i sold. My third Guitar which is my favorite is My 2002 Turquois Blue Excel SD12 8x5 custom built by Mitsuo and fits me very well. I also have a 2005 model Excel SD12 9x7 which is ok. I played Bert's New Rains Sunday' Great guitar Billy and smooth as butter. If you ask, May be they will build me a 12 Universal. Also I want you to know you did some of the best pickin Saturday at the Gulf coast steel show that i have heard in a while. you had that Rains uh Singing.
