Would any of you wise Forumites know who the girl is playing steel for Rod Stewart? Saw her today playing a lap steel and also I think a triple neck Fender. Rod's promoting his new Classic R & R CD and was wondering if she would be on his CD as well. Thanks.

I'll bet two fingerpicks that it's Cindy Cashdollar.

I was searching for dobro instructional material and saw on Cindy's site that she was on the View with Rod Stewart this morning - I'm with you, Steve, couldn't hear a note, but it was cool having her so prominently on the stage anyway. That signature line in that song ("Fooled Around and Fell in Love") should have been right out front.
Rod has been one of my favorites, but the last few times I've seen him on TV it seems like he can hardly sing anymore.......
