Who is playing steel for Grorge Jones these days? He will be at our fair this coming Monday night, thanks for information.

He is my friend, Tom Killen and if you meet him please tell him Wichita says hello. Great player.....

Jack, if you get a chance go see Jones and listen to some great sho bud steel playing by Tom.A great player and nice guy.The Jones Boys are sounding great as ever ... .George

I just saw GJ tonight, see my review in Music forum. The steeler spent a lot of time on stage before and after the show.

Yes Tom spends a lotta prep time on stage for he is extremely concious about his tuning. Which is a great discipline!!!!I have done some clubbing with Tom and he is definitely the best Honky Tonkin player I have worked with.

Thanks for the information, I'm writing all the names down so I don't forget anyone. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing Tom, of course George Jones also.

Okay, this is what he was talking about at the show. The person with his arm around him was at the show in Durham. He came out and spoke for a bit.

The cost of a ticket closest to the stage is $27.00.
