Howard, Thanks for asking. No it isn't out quite yet. A series of personal "interruptions" has divided my attention. I know this is beginning to sound ridiculous because it was recorded almost three years ago but, I hope to have some ready to ship soon. I'm anticipating that it will be available thru the Forum and Scotty's exclusively. Thanks again. Thanks for the reply, Frank. I've been listening to the clips. It's hard to believe anyone could play so good and with such a beautiful tone. Today is my birthday and I'm treating myself to a Jim Cohen CD, and will get yours when it's available. Meanwhile' I'll keep listening to the clips.

Howard, I too am eagerly awaiting Frank's CD. In the meantime, I'm flattered that you're giving yourself one of mine as a birthday present. If you'll email me your mailing address, I'll add a little something to that gift, from me.
Best,
Jimbeaux |

Having know Frank Rogers personally for many years, I can most definately say without any reservation that Frank is indeed one of the most talented musicians I have ever had the honor and pleasure of knowing, and working with. In fact, Frank played the guitar tracks on one of my earlier recordings, "Steein Time" and he is indeed amazing, which is actually a bit of an understatement. I heard some of the tracks from Frank's new CD some time ago, and I can promise you that no matter what level you are at, or what styles you might prefer, you are going to love Frank's new CD, and it's one of those that you will want to play over and over again. No question about it, this is definately another one of those "must-have" recordings you'll want to have in your collection.
Frank Rogers is second to none in knowledge, and second to none as an artist. When you hear Frank's new CD, I know you will agree with me completely. |

Dan, thanks for the very kind words. Also, thanks for being such a wonderful supporter of the Steel Guitar community. And,it was certainly a pleasure to work on your C.D. with Mike and Billy. BTW, I've noticed that your current lineup of You, Mike and Del are doing a lot of Steel Shows around the country, folks this is one group you don't want to miss! Thanks again, Danny |

How much longer do we have to wait, Frank?
The MP3 clips are some very, very tasty stuff that get regular play in my MP3 player.

Wow, people are still interested! I really appreciate that. Now my wife is even bugging me to get this thing packaged and "on the streets". There have been some "complications" with by "real job" schedule that have drained me of most of my personal time but we hope to have it available for the ISGC. I know, I've said that before. Thanks for asking about it. Hear Clips here: http://www.geocities.com/frsteel/ [This message was edited by frank rogers on 10 July 2005 at 06:07 PM.] |

Frank,
You bet people are interested!
What was it, three years ago at the Grand Rapids show that you gave me a 'pre-release' copy ~ I been waiting for the 'official release' to 'brag it up' a bit.
Anyhow, the not only is your steelplaying excellent, but the whole production is great.
I'm still enjoying it on a regular basis.
You have a hit on your hands!
As soon as it's ready for market you'll hafta be thinking about what to put on 'Volume Two'!
Thanks again, Frank.

This is wonderful; Spanglish knocks me out, and the Shenandoah arrangement is heavenly.
Great players too. |

Frank,
You played your new CD for me three years ago.
I have been waiting patiently. You know, that's my kind of music.
I have been listening to Julian Tharpe's 'Take Your Pick' tape while traveling around for about a year.
I need something as exciting as Julian's picking to replace that worn out Tharpe tape. I think your CD will do the trick.
And to think I've known you since you were playing steel barefooted.
Come to think of it, Frank. I believe that you were about 14 when we first played a little music together, recording a tape for some radio broadcast. You were playing bass then.
Good luck with your CD.

Thank you gentleman, you are very kind. Smiley and David, 2 of the most enjoyable sets for my wife and I in the last couple of years at the ISGC were by you fellas! Dave B. Thanks for hiring me to be the "bassist" on so many of your "Jamfest" shows way back "in the day". What a treat it was to work with Buddy, Julian, Jimmy Bryant, John Gore and the other great players you assembled for those historic events! My Son, Frank:
Your mother is waiting for a copy...Waiting....
And, as far as family goes there are a great number of cousins, aunts, uncles, brother etc. also waiting and starting to chomp at the bit, as well as friends in the steel guitar world.
We all know, and have known, for all of your life what an extremely talented musician you are (he can sing to.)And plays many instruments.
Along with your dad and brothers you fellows sure made life fun and exciting.
Music is in our souls.
I've bragged on you for as long as I can remember, always knowing you would sure back up my brags as soon as anyone heard you play.
This is one proud mom. I know your dear wife Molly is just as proud as I am.
NOW, get that #1 hit CD on the market.
Love, MOM
