Ernie Ashworth

Post by Steve Alonzo Walker »

Just had lunch with Ernie Ashworth yesterday and we sat there for two hours of him telling Opry stories. He has always been one of my favorites. Anyway, he told me that he was in a movie with Penny DeHaven called "Valley Of Blood" and he would love to get a copy of it if anyone has it. He had a copy but it got misplaced. Hopefully he will be back out playing again soon, he has taken time off to be with his wife who has some health problems. We should value our veterans of the Opry! papasteel@charter.net

I agree 100% with that, it's a shame that the Opry doesn't let them on very often.
