Maurice - can I offer my sincere congratulations on your induction to the SGHOF. I have seen at first hand why you have received this award. Your playing and musicianship is exemplary, and you have helped and inspired many players over a long period of time. For me personally it is a great choice. Long may you continue to entertain the listener with your unique playing style and musicality.

Reece, my dear friend, this is a very long over-due and deserved honor. You've not only inspired, for many years, steel guitarists world-wide, but have also been a top notch innovator (and I know you would say that you've had help from some of the best innovators) that has given the world some premier instruments. I know, when in the early to mid-70's, I got my very first MSA Classic D-10 the first words I uttered to anyone about the guitar was that it was 10-15 years ahead of its time mechanically. It's been proven through the years that the technology you used was far superior...Keep up the great work Reece and congratulations to you for this great achievment. Your friend always...HAL HIGGINS

Reece, I said years ago that I would be among those who stood and cheered at your induction into the SGHOF. Saturday with great pleasure I finally made good on that promise.

Congratulations on your induction into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame! It was wonderful to see your whole family up there with you. God bless you all.

Congrats, Reese. You were the reason I bought my first pro steel, and it was an MSA Classic U12. You have always amazed me with your talent and innovation, and you continue to do so musically and bussiness-wise.

Live long and prosper, brother.
