Hi,

I am Daun Suarez and I am a proud owner of a Desert Rose Pedal Steel Guitar. This is my second one and Chuck Back is building me a third one. I have had the pleasure of working with Chuck when he first started the Desert Rose Pedal Steel Guitar Co. I have watched Chuck put all of his effort into building the best pedal steel possible. From day one Chuck has built a superb guitar and he is constantly trying to improve and advance his pedal steel guitars to the max. His series three pedal steel guitar is a work of perfection. Chuck wants Desert Rose owners to have the best steel. He wants them to be completely satisfied and he will go the limit to prove it. Chuck is always ready to talk to you and he is always happy to see you when you drop by his factory. I am privileged to know Chuck and to count him as a good friend as well as a great pedal steel guitar builder and player. If you do not own a Desert Rose Pedal Steel Guitar, all I can do wonder why? Chuck takes trade-ins and he will build you what you want. Look up his web site or give him a call and check out the Desert Rose Pedal Steel Guitar today.

I agree with all this. I played one here in the Buckeye state a couple years ago and didn't want to quit. I'v been to his business where he builds these and he his perticular and very excited about what he is doing. He cant possibly be in it for the money. His prices says it all. I to love his playing also.

I just picked up mine from FedEx.Chuck installed the newest changer system in my Green D-10 8+5 and I must say this is a very special guitar with the most beautiful tone you can imagine...plays like butter, tunes great all of that stuff.Chuck is way beyond cool,He is so on it when it comes to call backs, and tech things.Although I haven't met him yet he seems like an old friend just from our phone conversations.Alaska is a hard place to get things done at sometimes.Chuck is a great communicator.I have played most of the newer makes of guitars that are out there, and there are some great ones..The Desert Rose just has this classic thing about it....now go buy one.

Can't add anymore to what has already been said about Chuck and the Desert Rose Guitars, I have S10 and am getting ready for a U12. I'm also priviledged to be able to call Chuck a dear friend. Don't pass up the chance to meet him when you have it.

Daun, This is a little off subject but I noticed the spelling of your name. My dads name was Daun Edgington and also a steel player.
As far as the Desert Rose steels, Chuck is is a super nice guy. I used to play with his brother Terry a few years ago.

All you guys that know me know I have to chime in here. I have had the pleasure of learning more in the past (almost) 3 years by working with Chuck. I have spent almost every weekend at his shop. I met him via a phone call from Fred's house where I ordered my first (student model) Desert Rose - they I one one in St. Louis a couple of years ago and wound up selling of stuff to get my first Pro model Desert Rose. Most know that one was stolen so I now have my 3rd.

While my original idea was to just learn some about how pedal steels worked it turned into a passion. I have had the good fortune of spending enough time there that I have gotten to play most all the Desert Rose guitars out there. In addition to a lot of different brands that we worked on and in many cases rebuilt.

I have more than likely spent more time with him in the shop than any one and I could not agree more about Chuck wanting every one of his guitars to be exactly what the customer wants.

He also does that with rebuilds that he works on.

Last Monday on my way to Vegas I stopped by his new shop in Kingman and he is set up and back on at it. He had receive more orders in the day or two before I was there.

I just saw a Neal McCoy show on GAC and there was Shawn playing his Desert Rose - "ole #3 - Black" The #3 was for Earnhart as most people knows.

Be listening and watching Brooks and Dunns new stuff too - Gary Morris is playing his Desert Rose all over that stuff --Gary has been in the studio with his Desert Rose on several CD's that will be out soon.

Can't say enough good about him and the Desert Rose Steels.

There are some pictures on the web site but they are in the process of adding more soon. He is basically asking the people that own them to submit photos.

If I know how to post a photo here I would of mine.
