Welcome Jerry! This is a great place to share some of that 16 years' experience as well as learn a thing or two.

Come to think of it, collectively there must be at least 50,000 years worth of steel guitar mileage amongst forumites (I only recently notched up my first year, but I reckon it all counts).

Thanks for the welcome . I need to clarify my sixteen years as a player . I lost my wife and soulmate singer and guitar player in 2000 to a heartattack. I started playing steel in 1989. for the last six years it has been played very little. I am now starting a new band and find I am VERY rusty hope some of it comes back. I like Mooney Green Emmons, an a lot more steel players singers Jones, the Hag Allan Jackson and a lot more. I have learned a lot thalast year from the forum just reading it when I can. I work a lot of 24-7s and don’t have much time. BUT in five months and ten days I will retire and I plan on living on top of my steel for a while….what I have found on the forum is AGREAT BUNCH OF GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for letting me be a little part of it
